Dr. Vihnanek graduated from UIC Dental School in 2002 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.  To heighten her skills she completed a one year residency at Illinois Masonic Hospital.  Now working as a general dentist in private practice, she is constantly trying to improve her skills and knowledge. 

Just this year she has completed almost 5 times the required hours of continuing education.  Up-to-date dental care is what she wants to offer her patients.  She participates in the Spear Faculty Club and Seattle Study Club working with other general dentists and specialists to offer patients comprehensive dental treatment.  One of the highlights of her career was volunteering for a mission trip to provide dental care and hygiene education in Panama.
